Make the Most of MDD

  • Connect with other doulas in your area.
  • Families: Sign up to receive an email when a doula in your area joins MDD.
  • Update your website/blog with a link to MDD. (http://www.MyDoulaDirectory.info)
  • Tell your friends on Facebook about MDD or tweet about us on Twitter. (Example Tweet: "Find a free/low cost doula near you! Get the maternity support you want at http://ow.ly/4rNHS"  or "Every kind of doula from every place on earth: My Doula Directory http://ow.ly/4rNHS" )
  • Let MDD know when you've been contacted by a potential client (even if you don't end up supporting them).
  • Check out whats new and happening on the My Doula Directory fan page. http://www.facebook.com/MyDoulaDirectory
  • Create a Yelp and/or Google listing for MDD in a major city (or tiniest of towns) near you. (This is free and a great way to make sure families near you can find MDD.)
  • Print My Doula Directory marketing materials like fliers, bookmarks, brochures and other great advertisement documents to post around your community.
  • Donate to MDD so that we can continue to keep the directory in fine, ad free, working order.

Remember: Taking the time to post just one flier in your neighborhood could make the world of difference for a woman in need of our support.
